Abstract

"SISTEMA E PROCESSO DE DETECçãO DE VAZAMENTOS, E, CONJUNTO OPERATIVAMENTE ASSOCIADO COM UM DISPENSADOR DE COMBUSTìVEL". Um processo e sistema para detectar vazamentos em um dispensador de combustível (12) é operativo para pneumaticamente pressurizar uma selecionável dentre uma parte de recuperação de vapor e uma parte dispensadora de combustível utilizando um fluxo de ar comprimido (14). Um fluxímetro (18) mede a taxa de fluxo do ar comprimido comunicado ao dispensador de combustível baseado sobre a taxa de fluxo pneumático medida pelo fluxímetro (18) que satifaz uma condição de pressurização para o dispensador de combustível, tal como manter o nível de pressurização acima de um valor limiar. A taxa de fluxo de ar comprimido necessária para manter este nível de pressurização é indicativa da taxa de vazamento.
