Um conjunto de compressor e acumulador de sucção (20, 120) que inclui um conjunto do acumulador (28, 28', 128) preso em um conjunto do compressor (22, 122). O conjunto do compressor inclui um alojamento curvo (24, 124) e o conjunto do acumulador tem um alojamento (37, 37', 137) que inclui uma superfície cóncava (39, 139) a qual circunda parcialmente o alojamento do compressor curvo.
