Patente de Invenção: <B>"COMPOSIçõES DE ESPUMA POLIMéRICAS, SUBSTRATOS PRODUZIDOS A PARTIR DE TAIS COMPOSIçõES E MéTODO DE FABRICAçãO, PRODUTOS PREPARADOS A PARTIR DE TAIS SUBSTRATOS E MéTODO DE FABRICAçãO"<D>. Proporciona-se uma composição de espuma polimérica para uso como um substrato em composições decorativas tendo pelo menos uma camada decorativa sobre o substrato, em que o substrato é preparado por transformação em espuma de uma composição produzida de (1) uma matriz de resina de um ou mais polímeros selecionados dentre polímeros de acrilonitrila-butadieno-estireno (ABS), policarbonatos, poliestirenos, óxido de polifenileno e polímeros de cloreto de polivinila, de preferência obtidos de plásticos recuperados. A composição de espuma resultante possui propriedades físicas e mecânicas suficientes para ser utilizada no lugar de placas de fibra ou chapas em partícula na preparação de vários produtos decorativos, tais como laminado decorativo, laminado decorativo microfolheado, películas metálicas, laminados metálicos, folhas metálicas, materiais para revestimento sólidos, compensados para revestimento sólidos, laminado para revestimento sólido, e laminado dimensional para revestimento sólido.
