Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO PARA A FABRICAçãO DE UMA VáLVULA DE PRATO"<D>. A invenção se refere a um processo para a fabricação de uma válvula de prato de ligas à base de <SYM>-TiAl para motores de combustão interna. A peça em bruto de <SYM>-TiAl é primeiramente de tal maneira remodelada, por exemplo por prensagem a extrusão, que, em seguida, a peça bruta de <SYM>-TiAl apresenta aproximadamente o diâmetro D do prato de válvula e as propriedades de material requeridas para o mesmo. Em seguida se dá a remodelagem secundária por prensagem por extrusão. Para tanto é empregada uma matriz, que é configurada de tal maneira que o diâmetro da abertura de entrada (6) corresponde aproximadamente àquele da peça em bruto primariamente remodelada, e um segmento (3) cilíndrico correspondente a esse diâmetro apresenta, através de um afilamento (4) correspondente aproximadamente ao cone da válvula, uma transição para a abertura de saída (5). Essa abertura de saída (5) corresponde ao menos aproximadamente ao diâmetro d do eixo da válvula (2). A operação de prensagem por extrusão é terminada com o atingimento da espessura S do prato de válvula.
