<B>"GENE QUIMéRICO, PEPTìDEO DE FUSãO "PEPTìDEO-DROSOMICINA, VETOR PARA A TRANSFORMAçãO DAS PLANTAS, CéLULA VEGETAL TRANSFORMADA, PLANTA RESISTENTE àS DOENçAS, PLANTA TRANSFORMADA RESISTENTE àS DOENçAS, SEMENTES DE PLANTAS, PROCESSO DE TRANSFORMAçãO DAS PLANTAS, PROCESSO DE CULTURA DAS PLANTAS TRANSFORMADAS"<D> A presente invenção tem por objeto um gene quimérico que contém uma seq³ência de DNA que codifica para a drosomicina, um vetor que contém o gene quimérico, um processo para a transformação das plantas e as plantas transformadas. A drosomicina produzida pelas plantas transformadas lhes confere uma resistência às doenças, em particular de origem fúngica.
