Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"DISPOSITIVO DE SEGURANçA TENDO CARACTERìSTICAS DE SEGURANçA MúLTIPLAS E MéTODO DE FABRICAR O MESMO"<D>. Um dispositivo de segurança que tem múltiplas características de segurança é utilizado com um item, tal como um documento seguro, um bilhete, um rótulo ou uma etiqueta, para autenticar o item e/ou codificar os dados concernentes ao item. Um exemplo do dispositivo de segurança inclui um substrato de suporte, uma camada metálica disposta sobre o substrato de suporte, e uma camada magnética disposta sobre a camada metálica em um registro substancial com pelo menos uma porção da camada metálica, por meio disto fornecendo tanto características de segurança metálicas quanto características de segurança magnéticas. A camada metálica e a camada magnética também formam um índice gráfico ou visualmente identificável sobre o substrato de suporte para fornecer uma característica de segurança visual. De acordo com um método, a camada metálica é aplicada no substrato de suporte, a camada magnética é aplicada na camada metálica, e as camadas são corroídas para formar o índice gráfico. A camada magnética pode, em uma modalidade, incluir um resistente químico magnético que é impresso sobre a camada metálica na forma do índice gráfico. As características de segurança magnéticas utilizam uma ou mais características magnéticas, tal como o nível de magnetismo e a característica de razão de queda dos mangéticos macios, para autenticar e/ou codificar os dados. As características de segurança magnéticas também podem incluir trilhas magnéticas para gravar os dados. As características de segurança metálicas utilizam diferentes comprimentos de regiões condutoras para autenticar e/ou codificar os dados.
