Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO DE LIMPEZA DE AVES EVISCERADAS". Aparelho usado para reduzir a quantidade de bactéria patogênica associada com aves ou outros animais comestíveis, de preferência frangos, consistindo em: (a) uma unidade (12) que tem uma parte interior contendo paredes laterais e de fundo, uma parte exterior contendo paredes laterais e de fundo e paredes de extremidade ligando a parte interior com a parte exterior, onde a área da parte interior proporciona um espaço que fecha completamente uma ou mais de uma ave ou animal que está sendo tratado; (b) um ou mais de um bocal de inundação (24) montado na parte interior da unidade e conectado a uma fonte de solução química redutora de bactéria, destinada a ser aplicada a todo o interior da cavidade do corpo da ave ou animal sendo tratado; (c) um ou mais bocais pulverizadores (20) montado dentro da parte interior da unidade e conectado a uma fonte de solução química redutora de bactéria, a fim de permitir a aplicação da citada solução química redutora de bactéria a todas as superfícies externas da ave ou animal sendo tratado, e (d) uma ou mais linha (28) destinada a conectar um ou mais de um bocal de inundação e um ou mais de um bocal pulverizador à fonte de solução química redutora de bactéria.
