Flutuador (2) de um sensor de nível de enchimento para um depósito de combustível de um veículo que consiste em um grande número de partículas de plástico (7, 8) comprimidas umas nas outras expandidas para um espaço livre por extrusão. Estas têm uma proporção muito elevada de oclusões (9, 10) de um agente propulsor em relação ao plástico e logo um peso específico especialmente reduzido. O flutuador (2) pode assim ser fabricado em plástico de forma especialmente económica.
