Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA A OXIDAçãO COMBINADA E TRATAMENTO TéRMICO DE PEçAS''<D>. é apresentado um método para oxidação combinada e tratamento de calor de peças de trabalho a temperaturas <243> 1300°C na câmara de tratamento de um forno contendo um gás neutro ou de reação a uma faixa de temperatura acima de 570°C. Para que o processo seja reproduzível e produza camadas homogêneas de óxido, a razão PH~ 2~O/PH~ 2~ é agitada após a transformação de estrutura da peça de trabalho, tal como a encontrada na estrutura desejada durante o tratamento térmico, de modo tal que a linha FeO + H~ 2~ = Fe + H~ 2~O seja excedida e uma camada de óxido seja formada a partir de FeO < 10 Ám.
