Abstract
Patente de Invenção:<B>" MéTODOS PARA A PRODUçãO DE TRIGO HìBRIDO"<D>. A presente invenção proporciona um método para a produção de trigo híbrido com base na capacidade de conservar estavelmente uma linhagem parental fêma de macho estéril, gênica, de trigo comum e trigo-duro. Ela também proporciona uma linhagem fêmea de macho estéril homozigótica para um alelo para a macho esterilidade, recessivo e para um alelo para a matança de pólen, dominante e uma linhagem conservadora, a qual propaga-se de forma rápida e estável. Linhagem mantenedora é isogênica à linhagem fêmea, porém tem um cromossomo engenheirado estranho carregando um alelo para a macho fertilidade, dominante, que restaura a fertilidade para a linhagem conservadora, um alelo para a matança do pólen, recessivo que é suscetível ao efeito de matança de pólen, nativo, assim impedindo a transmissão deste cromossomo para a linhagem fêmea e um ou mais marcadores selecionáveis que facilitam a manutenção da mantenedora propriamente dita. A invenção também proporciona procedimentos para a conversão de qualquer cultivar desejado em linhagem fêmea de macho estéril e em uma linhagem conservadora.
