<MU>VEDAçãO PARA EQUIPAMENTO QUE REQUEIRA RESFRIAMENTO<MV>. Vedações montadas externamente para estações-base de rádio móvel estão submetidas potencialmente a uma ampla faixa de temperatura ambientes. Em climas temperados, é possível que o calor gerado pela eletrónica interna seja dissipado por convecção natural. Em climas mais quentes, contudo, isto torna-se difícil ou impossível. é apresentada uma vedação tendo um invólucro interno para conter o equipamento. O invólucro 2 é formado com aletas condutoras de calor 4 que se estendem verticalmente, em uso, de modo de definir canais 8 entre aquelas. Um invólucro externo 10 contém o invólucro interno e define passagens de ar para dentro das quais as aletas se projetam. O invólucro externo tem suspiros 14, e 16 para permitir convenção através dos canais entre as aletas. Uma unidade de ventoinha 24 está localizada na, ou na direção da, extremidade superior das passagens de ar para retirar ar daquelas. é propriciado um meio de controle para controlar o funcionamento da unidade de ventoinha de acordo com a temperatura. A unidade de ventoinha está localizada de modo que não obstrua as passagens de ar e portanto não impeça convecção natural. Quando a unidade de ventoinha é ligada, a mesma aumenta o fluxo de ar nos canais entre as aletas aumentado assim o resfriamento. Referir a Figura 1.
