Abstract

A presente invenção refere-se a um processo de tratamento de tubos de material plástico com estiramento bi-axial. O tratamento de tubos de material plástico obtidos por extrusão, processo este de acordo com o qual um tubo plástico é aquecido para uma temperatura de orientação molecular superior a temperatura ambiente, submetendo o tubo a um estiramento bi-axial por meio de dilatação radial e por alongamento axial, visando obter um tubo bi-orientado, cujas propriedades mecânicas são aperfeiçoadas.
