<B>"AçO INOXIDáVEL AUSTENìTICO COM BOA RESISTêNCIA á OXIDAçãO"<D>. A presente invenção se refere a um novo aço inoxidável austenítico, que é fornecido de acordo com a análise seguinte: C: < 0,12; Si: < 1,0; Cr: 16 - 22; Mn: < 2,0; Ni: 8 - 14; Mo: < 1,0; ou Ti: > 4% em peso de C e < 0,8 ou Nb: 8% em peso de C e < 1,0; S: < 0,03; O: < 0,03; N: <0,05; REM: <243> 0,03 E > 0,10; e o restante em Fe e impurezas que normalmente ocorrem, os metais de terra rara (REM), sendo um ou mais dos elementos Ce, La, Pr e Nd. O novo aço é particularmente adequado como um aço de superaquecimento e um aço de trocador de calor.
