Abstract

Una aleacion de acero para herramientas y artículo de acero para herramienta de pulvimetalurgia hecho con dicha aleacion. La aleacion de acero paraherramientas tiene una exclusiva combinacion de dureza y tenacidad. La aleacion consta de lossiguiente s elementos en los porcentajes en peso que se indican:segun la tabla componentes, porcentaje en peso: C 1,85-2,30; Mn 0,15-1,0; Si 0,15-1,0; P 0,030 máximo; S 0-0,30; Cr 3,7-5,0; Ni + Cu 0,75 máximo; Mo 1,0máximo; Co 6-12; W 12,0-13,5; V4,5-7,5. El resto es esencialmente hierro además de las impurezas usuales. Los elementos C, Cr, Mo, W y V se equilibran en estaaleacion, de manera tal que: -0,05 <= delta C <= -0,42, donde delta C = ((0,033W) + (0,063Mo) + (0,06Cr) + (0,2V))-C. Unelemento de a cero para herramientas depulvimetalurgia fabricado a partir de un polvo de aleacion consolidado que tiene la composicion porcentual en peso que se indica precedentemente, proporcionauna dureza C de Rockwell de por lo menos 69,5, cuandose somete a tr atmaiento por calor.
