Abstract
"AçO INOXIDáVEL MARTENSìTICO DE USINAGEM FáCIL". Uma liga de aço inoxidável martensítico resistente à corrosão é divulgada tendo a seguinte composição em % em peso: carbono 0,06-0,10, manganês 0,50 max, silício 0,40 max, fósforo 0,060 max, enxofre 0,15-0,55, cromo 12,0-12,6, níquel 0,25 max, molibdênio 0,10 max, cobre 0,50 max, nitrogênio 0,04 max e o restante sendo essencialmente de ferro. Esta liga provê uma combinação única de usinabilidade por ferramenta de forma, resistência à corrosão e dureza, particularmente, na condição recozida (100 HRB máximo). A liga é capaz de ser endurecida a pelo menos 35 HRC.
