Abstract

"LIGA DE AçO INOXIDáVEL DE ENDURECIMENTO POR PRECIPITAçãO DE ALTA USINABILIDADE PARA APLICAçõES CRìTICAS E ARTIGO DO MESMO". Liga de aço inoxidável martensítico de endurecimento por precipitação é descrita tendo essencialmente a seguinte composição em porcentagem em peso: C 0,030 max Mn 1,00 max Si 1,00 max p 0,030 max S 0,005-0,015 Cr 14,00-15,50 Ni 3,50-5,50 Mo 1,00 max Cu 2,50-4,50 Nb+Ta (5~ x~C)-0,30 Al 0,05 max B 0,010 max N 0,030 max, e o saldo sendo essencialmente de ferro e impurezas usuais. Esta liga provê uma combinação única de propriedades através das quais artigos úteis feitos a partir da mesma proporcionam características de usinabilidade superiores em relação às ligas de aço inoxidável de endurecimento por precipitação 15Cr-5Ni de alta resistência conhecidas, e ao mesmo tempo em que atende os requisitos de resistência, ductilidade, e dureza especificados em AMS 5659 para aplicações críticas.
