Filtro ou aparelho catalisador, no qual um meio fluído em uma carcaça é trazido tão completamente quanto possível ao contato com a superfície de um arranjo disposto na carcaça, o arranjo tendo aberturas na direção do fluxo do meio, em que o arranjo compreender partes estacionárias (24; 124; 224) e partes móveis (22; 122; 322) e o meio fluído ser assim guiado de modo que escoe alternadamente através de respectivas partes estacionárias (24; 124; 224) e partes móveis (22; 122; 322) do arranjo.
