Abstract
COMPOSIÇÕES COM CAPACIDADE DE ARMAZENAMENTO DE OXIGÊNIO INTENSIFICADA. A presente invenção refere-se a composições tendo capacidade de armazenamento de oxigênio (OSC) intensificada. As composições com OSC intensificada contêm cério, zircônio, lantânio e neodímio, e um elemento dopante selecionado do grupo que consiste em Ti, Mn, Fe, Co, Cu, Zn, Ga, Ge, Ta, W, Mo, Nb, In, Sn, Ba e misturas dos mesmos. Em certas modalidades, estas composições contêm dois dopantes. Em certas modalidades destas composições, as composições compreendendo cério, zircônio, lantânio e neodímio e um ou mais elementos dopantes têm uma OSC após o envelhecimento a 1000°C por 10 horas que é melhorada em 1 a 50%, comparado a uma composição não dopada compreendendo cério, zircônio, lantânio e neodímio. O envelhecimento pode ser conduzido em um ambiente a ar. Também se refere a processes de produção destas composições tendo capacidade de armazenamento de oxigênio (OSC) intensificada. As composições podem ser usadas como um catalisador.
