Abstract

MÉTODO PARA SEPARAÇÃO DE IMPUREZAS DE CARBETO DE SILÍCIO, PÓ DE CARBETO DE SILÍCIO TRATADO POR TEMPERATURA E PURIFICADO. A presente invenção invenção trata de um método para separar impurezas do carbeto de silício, que pode ser usado em pós de SiC de pastas de moagem e pó de carbeto de silício tratado por temperatura e purificado. É um objetivo da presente invenção fornecer um método para separar substancialmente completamente várias impurezas com um processo simples e econômico. O problema é resolvido por um método no qual os produtos residuais de SiC em pó contendo pelo menos 50% em massa de SiC e um tamanho de grão médio d50 entre 0,5 e 1000 µm foram submetidos a tratamento por temperatura e resfriados, tratados mecanicamente e separados fisicamente, e subsequentemente o pó de SiC fisicamente separado é dividido em duas frações, das quais a massa de impurezas em uma fração é pelo menos duas vezes maior que na outra fração.
