Abstract

a presente invenção se refere à síntese de um (co)polímero acrílico associativo por meio de polimerização do radical em emulsão aquosa, dito (co)polímero compreende, pelo menos, uma mistura de oligômeros de ácido acrílico representados pela fórmula (i): em que n é um número inteiro variando a partir de 1 a 10, ditos oligômeros sendo preparados a partir de ácido acrílico a uma temperatura entre 50º c e 200º c na presença de um catalisador básico ou ácido, de água e de inibidores de polimerização. a presente invenção também se refere ao (co)polímero de acrílico associativo obtido através do método e também à utilização deste (co)polímero como espessante em diversas formulações.
