Abstract
a presente invenção refere-se a um método de recuperação de hcl de um fluxo de gás que contém hcl, em que um fluxo de gás que contém hcl com temperatura de -20 a 25ºc é fornecido a uma unidade de absorção adiabática, onde é colocado em contato com água como absorvente, resultando na formação de um fluxo de gás superior e uma solução de produto hcl aquosa, em que a temperatura do fluxo de gás superior é de pelo menos 70ºc e a solução de produto hcl aquosa possui concentração de hcl na faixa de 5 a 20% em peso. prefere-se que o fluxo de gás que contém hcl seja derivado de uma etapa de hidrogenação, em que alimentação que compreende ácido monocloroacético (mca) e ácido dicloroacético (dca) reage com hidrogênio para formar um fluxo de gás que contém hcl e um fluxo de produto que compreende mca e quantidade reduzida de dca. a solução de produto hcl é preferencialmente diluída até concentração de 1-8% em peso e a solução diluída é utilizada como absorvente em segunda etapa de absorção, em que hcl é absorvido de um fluxo de gás que contém hcl adicional para formar segunda solução de hcl aquosa. o fluxo de gás que contém hcl adicional é preferencialmente derivado de uma etapa de cloração, na qual ácido acético reage com cloro, resultando na formação do fluxo de gás que contém hcl adicional e uma alimentação que compreende ácido monocloroacético (mca) e ácido dicloroacético (dca).
