Abstract
a presente invenção trata de um método para purificar oses a partir de hemicelulose que se origina de biomassa lignocelulósica, em que as ditas oses estão contidas em um hidrolisado ácido obtido por hidrólise parcial de biomassa lignocelulósica por meio de pelo menos um catalisador ácido, em que o dito hidrolisado ácido compreende adicionalmente uma matriz de celulose, resíduos sólidos e/ou matéria suspensa, o dito método é distinguido pelo fato de que o mesmo compreende as seguintes etapas: - eliminar, do hidrolisado ácido, a matriz de celulose e os resíduos sólidos e/ou os materiais não suspensos, a fim de obter um hidrolisado clarificado; - sem adicionar qualquer reagente químico básico para aumentar o ph, submeter o dito hidrolisado clarificado a pelo menos uma etapa de ultrafiltração e/ou a pelo menos uma etapa de nanofiltração, a fim de obter um filtrado que contém a maior parte das pentoses e um retentado que contém as espécies que são propensas a precipitar sob o efeito de um aumento no ph; - tratar o dito filtrado por pelo menos uma etapa de eletrodiálise a fim de recuperar o catalisador ácido a partir de uma solução suplementada por ácido e obter um filtrado desacidificado.
