Abstract

trata-se de um método para produzir transformantes de plastídio que inclui um processo (a) no qual os genes de codificam proteínas que têm uma função de neutralizar a toxicidade de nitrito são introduzidos em tecidos de planta e um processo (b) em que os tecidos de planta nos quais os genes são inseridos no processo (a) são cultivados em um meio que contém nitrogênio de nitrito que tem uma concentração em que o crescimento de células de planta do tipo selvagem é suprimido ou uma concentração em que a regeneração de plantas do tipo selvagem é suprimida e, desse modo, os transformantes de plastídio obtidos inserindo-se os genes em genomas de plastídio são triados.
