Abstract
a invenção relaciona-se a um silano de fórmula (i) contendo pelo menos um grupo-alifático amidina ou grupo alcoxi guanidina, a um método para a produção do mesmo, para transformação de produtos dos mesmos, e à utilização dos mesmos como um catalisador em composições curáveis, em particular à base de polímeros contendo um grupo silano. o silano de fórmula (i) é, em grande medida inodoro e não volátil à temperatura ambiente. o silano acelera a reação de hidrólise e condensação dos grupos de silano de forma muito eficaz, sem prejudicar a estabilidade durante o armazenamento de polímeros contendo um grupo silano. além disso, o silano é muito tolerável em composições contendo grupos silano, em que tais composições não são propensas a separar, migrar, ou evaporar o catalisador.
