Abstract

MÉTODO PARA REDUZIR ENXOFRE PRESENTE COMO ENXOFRE OU COMPOSTOS DE ENXOFRE EM UM FLUXO DE ALIMENTAÇÃO DE HIDROCARBONETO. Gerenciar enxofre presente como enxofre ou um composto de enxofre em um fluxo de alimentação de hidrocarboneto efetuando desidrogenação de hidrocarbonetos (por exemplo, propano) contidos no fluxo de alimentação de hidrocarboneto para suas olefinas correspondentes (por exemplo, propileno onde o hidrocarboneto é propano) sem submeter o fluxo de alimentação a dessulfuração antes de ele contatar um catalisador de desidrogenação fluidizável que é tanto um dessulfurante quanto um catalisador de desidrogenação e compreende gálio e platina em um suporte de catalisador de alumina ou alumina-sílica com metal alcalino ou alcalino-terroso opcional, como potássio. O contato com esse catalisador gera um produto de olefina bruto dessulfurado que corresponde ao hidrocarboneto e tem uma quantidade reduzida de enxofre ou compostos de enxofre em relação ao enxofre ou compostos de enxofre presentes no fluxo de alimentação de hidrocarboneto antes do contato com o catalisador.
