resumo da patente de invenção para: “método e composição para sequestro de arsênico”. a presente invenção se refere a um método para sequestro de óxidos de arsênico, compreendendo formar um vidro insolúvel e estável incorporando uma forma inteiramente oxidada de arsênico gerado pela oxidação de um óxido inferior inicial de arsênico e estabilização por formação de sal de cálcio. a composição do vidro para sequestro de arsênico compreende de 50 a 75% de sílica; de 0,5 a 3% de al2o3; de 1 a 15% de mno; de 5 a 15% de cao; de 1 a 20% de as2o5 e de 8 a 14% de na2o, e menos de quatro por cento de óxidos de ferro, óxido de magnésio e outros óxidos.
