Abstract
ARRANJO DE REVESTIMENTO PARA USO NA SOLDAGEM POR FRICÇÃO COM MISTURA MECÂNICA. Um arranjo de revestimento (2) que suporta uma emenda soldada que se estende em um trajeto curvado que é formado entre duas peças de trabalho curvadas pela soldagem por fricção com mistura mecânica com uma ferramenta de soldagem separada do arranjo de revestimento, o arranjo de revestimento compreendendo um corpo do revestimento (20) que deve ser sustentado pelas peças de trabalho opostas à dita ferramenta de soldagem para supor pelo menos uma parte da força de compressão que é exercida pela ferramenta de soldagem contra as peças de trabalho para manter o material plastificado durante a operação de soldagem na área da emenda soldada. O corpo de revestimento é equipado com um ressalto (21) que exibe uma superfície inferior (22) virada para fora, através da qual o corpo de revestimento é equipado para ser apoiado sobre as peças de trabalho. Um mecanismo propulsor (50) é posicionado para girar e/ou oscilar o ressalto, de modo que a superfície inferior do ressalto possa desse modo executar o movimento de rotação e/ou oscilação contra as peças de trabalho, para criar um calor de atrito nas mesmas.
