Abstract
processo para produção de violaceína e deoxiviolaceína contendo pigmento bioativo de chromobacterium sp. (mtcc 5522). a presente invenção descreve um processo para a produção de pigmento natural azul-violeta contendo violaceína e seu derivado (deoxiviolaceína) usando chromobacterium sp. niist-ckk-01 (mtcc 5522, ncim 5341; número de acesso no genbank fj982784). o método compreende as etapas de manutenção e crescimento da bactéria em meio específico sob condições definidas de temperatura, ph e agitação. no final da incubação, a biomassa e o pigmento são separados do caldo da cultura, o pigmento é recuperado da biomassa por meio de extração com solvente e finalmente o pigmento é concentrado por secagem.
