Abstract

 開示されているのは、ハロモナス属に属する好塩菌を用いたポリヒドロキシアルカノエート(PHAs)産生方法であって、好塩菌は無機塩と単一の有機炭素源からなるpH8.8~11の培地で増殖並びに乾燥菌体重量に対して20重量%以上のPHAsを産生することができ、好塩菌を無機塩と単一もしくは複数の有機炭素源を含むアルカリ条件の培地で培養し、乾燥菌体重量に対して20重量%以上のPHAsを産生するPHAs産生方法、及び無機塩と単一有機炭素源からなるpH8.8~11の培地で増殖並びに乾燥菌体重量に対して20重量%以上のPHAsを産生することができる、ハロモナス属に属する好塩菌である。
