Abstract
processo para preparar polímeros de estireno expansíveis. a invenção refere-se a um método para a produção de polímeros de estireno expansíveis, cujo método compreende os estágios que se seguem: (a) adicionar uma fase aquosa contendo um estabilizador de suspensão e uma fase orgânica contendo estireno e iniciador a um reator (b) iniciar a adição de um agente de sopro em uma taxa de conversão de estireno em uma faixa de 40 a 70% e adição do agente de sopro durante um período de 30 a 60 minutos, (c) adicionar um estabilizador para a estabilização da distribuição do tamanho de partícula do polímero de estireno expansível em uma taxa de conversão de estireno em uma faixa de 65 a 99%.
