Abstract
moldagem de polímeros de cristal líquido termotrópico e artigos produzidos a partir dos mesmos. a presente invenção refere-se a um método de moldagem de uma composição que compreende um polímero de cristal líquido termotrópico (tlcp) que compreende mesogens; proporcionar a um molde tendo uma cavidade de molde, uma cavidade de recurso (43) que compreende uma câmara de recurso fino; aquecer a composição para formar uma composição fundida; preencher a câmara de recurso fino com a composição fundida movendo-se em uma velocidade de fluxo que induza o alinhamento de fluxo de pelo menos uma porção dos mesogens no tlcp fundido que preenche a câmara de recurso fino (49), em relação a uma direção do fluxo da composição fundida em movimento; e solidificar a composição fundida de tal modo que os mesogens pelo menos do tlcp solidificado na câmara de recurso fino mantenhaseu alinhamento de fluxo. a presente invenção refere-se também a um artigo moldado que compreende um corpo e um recurso estrutural tridimensional projetando-se para fora a partir do corpo e compreende um elemento de recurso fino tendo uma dimensão menor, com os mesogens de tlcp ao longo da dimensão menor estando em um estado alinhado em fluxo.
