Abstract

BANDEJA PARA TRATAMENTO DENTáRIO, COMPREENDENDO UMA RESINA PLASTIFICADA PARA OBTER MELHOR MOLDABILIDADE E CONFORMABILIDADE. A invenção refere-se a uma bandeja de tratamento dentário (100), usada para proporcionar um tratamento desejado, e que é moldada por injeção a partir de uma composição que inclui pelo menos uma resina termoplástica e pelo menos um plastificante. A resina termoplástica plastificada permite que a bandeja de tratamento dentário seja moldada por injeção mesmo tendo uma espessura de parede menor do que cerca de 0,038 cm (0,015 in). O plastificante aumenta o índice de fluidez em fusão da resina termoplástica enquanto em um estado fundido, o que facilita o preenchimento completo da cavidade do molde pela resina termoplástica. O plastificante também amacia o polímero termoplástico enquanto em um estado solidificado, para produzir uma bandeja dental (100) que é ainda mais flexível e confortável para o usuário usar.
