Abstract
"VáLVULA DE EXPANSãO DE REFRIGERAçãO COM ELEMENTO DE ENERGIA DE MASSA TéRMICA". Válvula de expansão termostática par um sistema de condicionamento de ar de veículo incluindo um alojamento e um elemento de energia suportado pelo alojamento. O elemento de energia inclui um diafragma, e uma almofada de pressão disposta contra o diafragma. A almofada de pressão pode ser formada em uma peça de cobre, uma liga de cobre, ou outro material, cujo material pode também ser uma mistura, composto ou outra combinação, tendo uma condutividade térmica de pelo menos cerca de 115 W/m-K (800 BTU-in/hr-ft^ 2^-<198>F), e de preferência pelo menos cerca de 170 W/m-K (1200 BTU-in/hr-ft^ 2^-<198>F), e mais preferivelmente pelo menos cerca de 280 W/m-K (2000 BTU-in/hr- ft^ 2^-<198>F), e uma densidade de pelo menos cerca de 8 g/cm^ 3^(0,3 lb/in^ 3^), e é conectado por meio de uma haste em um elemento de válvula no alojamento para controlar o fluxo de refrigerante entre o condensador e o evaporador. O uso de tal material na almofada de pressão reduz a suscetibilidade da válvula a mudanças de temperatura externa e reduz a vibração da válvula.
