Abstract

"PRODUçãO DE UM PRODUTO DE FERMENTAçãO". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo de separação de sólidos suspensos de um líquido de fermentação, mediante submissão do líquido a um estágio de separação sólidos/líquido, em que o líquido de fermentação é produzido em um processo de fermentação para produção de um produto de fermentação, cujo líquido compreende água, lignina e BOD, em que o estágio de separação sólidos/líquido é auxiliado por um sistema de tratamento, caracterizado em que o sistema de tratamento compreende: (i) um polímero catiónico apresentando uma viscosidade intrínseca (IV) de pelo menos 4 dl/g, em uma dose acima de 2 kg/ton, baseado no peso seco da suspensão, ou (ii) um polímero catiónico apresentando uma viscosidade intrínseca (IV) de pelo menos 4 dl/g, e (iii) um polímero aniónico, e/ou (iv) um polímero catiónico de viscosidade intrínseca abaixo de 4 dl/g e uma densidade de carga catiónica de pelo menos 3 meq/g, e/ou (v) coagulantes inorgânicos, e/ou (vi) material de carga microparticulado.
