Abstract

"EXPRESSãO FERIMENTO-INDUZìVEL EM PLANTAS". A presente invenção refere-se a um método para a produção de plantas no qual a expressão de uma proteína inseticida é regulada por um promotor ferimento-induzido que induz à expressão local, de preferência o promotor ferimento-induzível TR2<39>, aos genes quiméricos usados no presente método e à plantas obtidas por meio do mesmo e aos processos para obtenção de resistência contra insetos que se alimentam sobre as plantas através de expressão localizada de uma proteína inseticida induzida quando de ferimento das plantas através de alimentação pelos insetos.
