Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA PRODUçãO DE CORPOS MOLDADOS POLIMéRICOS MICROPOROSOS ESPUMADOS, CORPO MOLDADO POLIMéRICO MICROPOROSO ESPUMADO EM FORMA PARTICULADA, E, PARTìCULAS POLIMéRICAS MICROPOROSAS ESPUMADAS". A invenção refere-se a um processo para a produção de corpos moldados de polímero microporoso espumado, fundindo-se um polímero termoplástico em uma primeira zona de um dispositivo de extrusão; misturar um propelente altamente volátil; transportar a massa fundida polimérica contendo o propelente para uma segunda zona, em que o propelente dissolve-se até a massa fundida polimérica ser saturada na temperatura de espumação; moldar e espumar a massa fundida polimérica carregada para formar uma estrutura de espuma. Na segunda zona, uma pressão maior do que 90 bares, uma concentração de propelente maior do que a concentração limiar crítica para uma completa espumação e uma temperatura de espumação maior do que a temperatura de ajuste da massa fundida polimérica saturada com o propelente. O corpo moldado polimérico obtido tem uma porosidade na região entre 40 e 90 % em volume e uma estrutura de poros uniformemente abertos uniformemente distribuída através da seção transversal. Os corpos moldados poliméricos microporosos, espumados em forma conformada em partícula, são produzidos de um polímero termoplástico tendo uma estrutura uniforme de poros abertos, uma porosidade entre 40 e 90 % em volume, uma parte acessível de volume de poros de pelo menos 0,75, além de um tamanho médio de célula entre 1 e 100 <109>m.
