Abstract

"RODA DENTADA DE CORRENTE DE CILINDRO COM ANéIS DE AMORTECIMENTO SIMéTRICOS". A presente invenção refere-se a uma roda dentada (212) que inclui um cubo e uma pluralidade de dentes que se projetam radialmente para fora a partir do referido cubo. Pelo menos um anel de amortecimento (244) está localizado adjacente aos dentes, e o anel de amortecimento define uma pluralidade de calços de compressão (402) separados uns dos outros por ranhuras transversais (404). Cada um dos calços de compressão é definido simetricamente em torno de um ponto médio circunferencial. Quando parte de uma roda dentada com espaços de dente simétricos, o anel de amortecimento está sendo operável de forma idêntica nas primeira e segunda direções rotativas. Em um arranjo, cada um dos calços de compressão inclui uma superfície externa plana que tem uma extremidade de entrada e uma de saída, onde a extremidade de entrada e a extremidade de saída estão localizadas a uma distância radial comum de um centro do cubo em torno do qual a roda dentada gira. Os espaços de dente da roda dentada podem ser simétricos, assimétricos e a superfície de raiz pode ser com alívio. A roda dentada pode incluir múltiplos perfis de dentes distribuídos aleatoriamente em torno do cubo.
