Abstract

"MéTODO DE CONTROLE DE PRODUçãO DE ETANOL". A presente invenção refere-se a um transformante no qual tenha sido incorporado DNA para codificação de uma proteína exógena tendo atividade de lactato de desidrogenase e provida de afinidade por substrato de ácido pirúvico que iguala ou excede a afinidade por substrato de ácido pirúvico da piruvato descarboxilase inerente ao organismo hospedeiro. O referido transformante pode produzir em massa estavelmente ácido láctico no interior de um organismo hospedeiro que tenha o gene de piruvato descarboxilase.
