Abstract
"TRATAMENTO TéRMICO CONTìNUO DE MATERIAL DE MASSA". A invenção se refere a um dispositivo (1) para tratamento térmico contínuo de materiais granulados, especialmente para a cristalização de granulado de polímero, tal como tereftalato de polietileno (PET), por exemplo. O dispositivo compreende várias câmaras de fluidização adjacentes (2, 3, 4, 5, 6), respectivamente, providas com uma placa de peneira (11) através da qual um gás de fluidização usado para fluidizar o granulado pode ser insuflado na respectiva câmara de baixo, via uma admissão de gás (9), referido gás sendo capaz de escapar via uma descarga de gás (10) na área de topo do dispositivo. A primeira câmara (2) toma a maior parte do volume total de todas as câmaras (2, 3, 4, 5, 6), e as câmaras vizinhas são, respectivamente, fluidicamente ligadas por meio de aberturas de fluxo de produto (18, 19, 20, 21; 28, 29, 30, 31) nas paredes de separação (14, 15, 16, 17) dispostas entre as mesmas. De acordo com o método da invenção, usando-se o dispositivo (1) da invenção, o material granulado é guiado através de várias câmaras de fluidização adjacentes (2, 3, 4, 5, 6), o nivel de enchimento absoluto do material de granulação fluidizado na primeira câmara (2) sendo pelo menos mais alto que o nível de enchimento absoluto das outras câmaras adjacentes (3, 4, 5, 6) dispostas à jusante destas.
