Abstract
"UM MéTODO PARA A PRECIPITAçãO DE SìLICA EM CONEXãO COM A LIXIVIAçãO DE MINéRIO DE ZINCO". A presente invenção se refere a um método para a lixiviação de minérios oxidados e, em particular, para a lixiviação de minérios de zinco. Em concordância com o método da presente invenção, o minério, em que os metais valiosos estão pelo menos parcialmente na forma de silicato, são direcionados para um estágio de lixiviação acídica em condições onde o silicato se decompõe e o íon de metal valioso vem para dentro da solução. Durante a lixiviação, o íon de silicato primeiro se dissolve, mas simultaneamente se decompõe e é precipitado como sílica.
