Abstract

"PROCESSO EM MúLTIPLAS ETAPAS PARA PREPARAçãO DE GáS REFORMADO COM BAIXO TEOR DE ENXOFRE". A invenção fornece um processo em múltiplas etapas para preparar um gás reformado com baixo teor de enxofre para uso em um sistema de célula de combustível por reforma de vapor catalítica de uma mistura gasosa de reagente compreendendo a introdução de hidrocarbonetos contendo enxofre e vapor em uma primeira etapa para fazer um reformado, passando o reformado proveniente da primeira etapa sobre um absorvedor de enxofre, seja diretamente ou somente após a passagem pela segunda etapa, e reduzindo o teor de monóxido de carbono do reformado obtido em uma segunda etapa, em que a mistura gasosa de reagente que compreende a razão vapor/carbono, e dessorvendo os componentes de enxofre absorvidos opcionalmente sobre catalisadores em ambas as etapas de processo aumentando-se periodicamente a temperatura e também passando os catalisadores sobre o absorvedor, em que a temperatura do absorvedor durante a operação do processo é sempre mantida dentro de um intervalo de temperatura que é um ótimo para o absorvedor.
