Abstract

"PRODUçãO MAIOR DE áCIDO 2-CETO-L-GULÈNICO". Um método para aumento da produção biossintética de 2-KLG de uma célula hospedeira é descrito. Tal método compreende seleção de uma célula hospedeira que tenha um curso sintético pelo menos parcialmente intracelular que utilize 2,5-DKG para produzir 2-KLG; aumento do transporte do dito 2,5-DKG para a dita célula hospedeira enquanto mantendo a integridade da célula hospedeira; cultura da célula hospedeira para produzir o dito 2,5-DKG; e produção de 2-KLG. O transporte do 2,5-DKG é aumentando através da transformação do DNA da célula hospedeira codificando uma ou mais enzimas de transporte de 2,5-DKG para a célula hospedeira.
