Abstract

"APARELHO E MéTODO PARA CONTROLAR A FORMAçãO DE UM AIRBAG". Trata-se de sensores por satélite (16, 18) que produzem sinais de nível correspondentes ao impacto sobre o veículo (10) que são fornecidos nas porções direita e esquerda de uma porção dianteira do veículo (10), separadamente de um sensor de piso (14). Se um mapa (Lo1, Lo2, Lo3, Hi) selecionado como um padrão limite de alteração a partir de um impacto (desaceleração) detectado com base no sinal produzido de um dos sensores por satélite (16, 18) e um mapa (Lo1, Lo2, Lo3, Hi) selecionado como um padrão limite de alteração a partir de um impacto (desaceleração) detectado com base no sinal de saída de outro sensor por satélite forem diferentes um do outro, o mapa de um limite menor é selecionado a partir de mapas baseados nos sinais de saída dos dois sensores por satélite (16, 18), e é estabelecido como um padrão limite de alteração para determinar se será ativado o aparelho de airbag (30).
