Abstract

"APARELHO DE CONTROLE DE ATIVAçãO E PROCESSO DE SISTEMA DE AIR BAG". Aparelho de controle de ativação para um sistema de air bag de um veículo a motor que inclui um primeiro sensor disposto em uma posição predeterminada dentro da carroceria do veículo, para gerar um sinal indicativo de um impacto aplicado ao veículo, e pelo menos um segundo sensor disposto para adiante da posição do primeiro sensor, para gerar um sinal indicativo de um impacto aplicado ao veículo. O aparelho de controle é operável para ativar um dispositivo de air bag, quando um parâmetro determinado com base no sinal de saída do primeiro sensor exceder um padrão de limite predeterminado que é determinado com base no sinal de saída do segundo sensor. Quando o padrão de limite predeterminado for mudado de um padrão de referência para um padrão de limite desejado que confira valores de limite mais baixos, o padrão será mudado gradativamente em intervalos de tempo predeterminados, sem pular um padrão ou padrões intermediários entre o padrão de referência e o padrão desejado.
