Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR 1,3-DICETONAS BICìCLICAS E, CETONA BICìCLICA". A invenção refere-se a um método para produzir compostos de fórmula (I), por meio do qual: a) uma olefina bicíclica de fórmula (II) é reagida com halofórmio na presença de uma base para produzir o produto de anel aumentado de fórmula (III); b) o composto de fórmula (III) é hidrolisado para produzir o alil-álcool de fórmula (IV); c) o alil-álcool de fórmula (IV) é oxidado para produzir a cetona insaturada de fórmula (V); e d) a cetona de fórmula (V) é reagida com um íon nucleofílico Y, que estabiliza uma carga negativa, para produzir a cetona de fórmula (VI); e e) a cetona de fórmula (VI) é hidrolisada para produzir a 1,3-dicetona bicíclica de fórmula (I). Nas fórmulas (I) a (VI), R^ 1-R^ 5^, X, Y e Z possuem os significados como citados na descrição. A invenção também se refere aos novos produtos intermediários e aos novos métodos para produzir estes produtos intermediários.
