Abstract

"CABO DE COMUNICAçõES DE ALTA VELOCIDADE à PROVA DE VAPOR E MéTODO PARA FABRICAR O MESMO". Trata-se de uma construção de cabo quadratim e de um método para fabricar o mesmo que são proporcionados para uso em comunicações para uma rede de área local, ao mesmo tempo que oferecendo características de resistência à migração de vapor e à imersão em petróleo. Um cabo é proporcionado com envoltórios interno e externo abrangendo uma configuração em espiral dos condutores de sinal isolados. Um enchimento do núcleo é proporcionado para substancialmente preencher o núcleo e os interstícios entre os condutores de sinal isolados. O enchimento do núcleo e o envoltório interno são formados de material à prova de vapor e limitados com os condutores de sinal isolados de uma maneira que substancialmente preencher todas as ranhuras e fendas ao redor dos condutores de sinal isolados para substancialmente impedir a migração do vapor ao longo do comprimento do cabo. Um envoltório externo pode ser proporcionado, o qual é impermeável ao gás, desse modo permitindo ao cabo se submergido no petróleo por períodos de tempo estendidos sem afetar a operação.
