Abstract

"COMPOSIçõES TóPICAS CONTENDO PROSTAGLANDINA E~ 1~". é fornecida uma composição tópica de consistência semi-sólida adequada para aplicação transdérmica de prostaglandina E~ 1~. A composição compreende prostaglandina E~ 1~, um intensificador de penetração, uma goma polissacarídea, um composto lipofílico, e um sistema de tampão ácido. O intensificador de penetração de pele é um sal de adição ácida de um éster de alquil-2-(amino substituído)-alcanoato, de um (amino substituído)-alcanol alcanoato, ou de uma mistura desses. O composto lipofílico pode ser um álcool alifático C~ 1~ a C~ 8~, um éster alifático C~ 8~ a C~ 30~, ou uma mistura desses. A composição inclui um sistema de tampão capaz de fornecer um valor de pH tamponado para a referida composição na faixa de cerca de 3 a cerca de 7,4.
