Abstract

"MéTODO PARA TRATAR A DISFUNçãO ERETIL EM UM PACIENTE EM NECESSIDADE DE TAL TRATAMENTO, APLICADOR, COMPOSIçãO DE PROSTAGLANDINA E~ 1~, E, USO DE UMA COMPOSIçãO".A invenção fornece métodos de tratar a disfunção erétil que compreende a etapa de colocar dentro da fossa navicular do paciente uma quantidade indutora de ereção eficaz de uma composição de prostaglandina E~ 1~ de uma consistência semi-sólida. A composição compreende prostaglandina E~ 1~, um realçador de penetração, uma goma de polissacarídeo, um composto lipofílico e um sistema de tampão ácido. O realçador de penetração é um éster de alquila-2-(amino N,N-di-substituído)-alcanoato, um alcanoato de (amino N,N-di-substituído)-alcanol ou uma mistura destes. O composto lipofílico pode ser um álcool C~ 1~ a C~ 8~ alifático, éster de C~ 2~ a C~ 30~ alifático, um éster C~ 8~ a C~ 30~ alifático ou uma mistura destes. A composição inclui um sistema de tampão capaz de fornecer um valor de pH tamponado para a dita composição na faixa de cerca de 3 a cerca de 7,4.
