"CABO AUTO-EXTINGUìVEL, E, MéTODO PARA DAR A UM CABO PROPRIEDADES RETARDANTES DE CHAMA E DE RESISTêNCIA AO IMPACTO". Cabo auto-extinguível, em particular, um cabo elétrico para a transmissão ou distribuição de energia de baixa voltagem ou de média voltagem ou para a transmissão de dados, que compreende pelo menos um condutor e pelo menos um revestimento retardante de chama posicionado externamente ao dito condutor. O revestimento retardante de chama é produzido a partir de um material polimérico expandido que incorpora pelo menos um agente intumescente.
