Abstract

Cables, en particular cables eléctricos para la transmision de energía de baja tension o para las telecomunicaciones o de un modo alternativo, cables parala transmision de datos o cables combinados para energía/telecomunicaciones, que tienenpropieda des de autoextincion y que producen un bajo nivel de humos, enlos cuales está presente una capa de revestimiento basada en un material polimérico y una carga inorgánica pirorretardante. El material polimérico comprende uncopolímeroheterofásico,el cu al tiene una fase elastomérica basada en etileno copolimerizado con una alfa-olefina y una fase termoplástica basada propileno. Lafase elastomérica representa el 45% como mínimo, en peso, con relacion al peso total del copolímeroheterofásico y el co polímero heterofásico carecesustancialmente de cristalinidad que deriva de las secuencias de polietileno. También se divulga una composicion pirorretardable utilizada en los cables.
